As a Registered Dietitian at RegalCare at Glen Ridge, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized nutrition care plans. You will collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess nutritional needs, develop tailored dietary interventions, and monitor progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.

As a Registered Dietitian at RegalCare at Glen Ridge, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized nutrition care plans. You will collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess nutritional needs, develop tailored dietary interventions, and monitor progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and as needed.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on residents' medical conditions, dietary preferences, and cultural considerations.
- Provide ongoing nutrition education and counseling to residents and their families.
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and dietary intake, and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to nutrition and food service.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- Current registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
