Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of underwriting experience, a bachelor's degree, and solid communication and time management skills. This role involves evaluating risk, analyzing data, and making informed decisions to support our underwriting operations.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review and analyze data to provide accurate modeling for our clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions
• Communicate decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and service standards

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in underwriting or financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software/tools
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven effective time management and organizational skills
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in healthcare underwriting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
