Job Summary:
The Security Technician is responsible for tasks associated with Installation of Multiple Strada Security System types.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None.
- Installs CCTV, Access Control, Audio Video Equipment and intrusion hardware cabling and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.
- Assist in testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such as,
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement
- Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment.
- Position requires technician to participate in an on-call rotation schedule. Technician would be
on the rotation order.
- Responsible for updating team lead on the status of all work performed daily.
- Notify team lead daily of any materials needed to complete duties.
- Perform additional Security Technician and related functions as assigned by the team lead and
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Display a positive attitude to fellow team members and clients.
- Willingness and ability to be a team player.
- Ability to focus and complete assigned tasks and prioritize when given multiple tasks.
- Organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented abilities.

- Must maintain client privacy and personal professionalism at all times.
- High school degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
- 5 plus years’ experience in the Alarm Industry.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Must be able to lift to 15- 85 lbs. at times.
- Must be able to climb ladders and move into and through small crawl spaces.
