POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team while maximizing the highest level of customer services to assigned referral sources.

Primary Duties

  • Maintain primary contact with all customer assigned accounts through personal visits, telephone calls and letters/mailings on an ongoing basis to ensure customer relationships are developed and nurtured.
  • Maintain and lend customer support to designated number of contacts to stimulate referral activity and meet goals of business development department.
  • Maintain current, quality account information to ensure accuracy of salesforce database and status of accounts .
  • Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education and professional and community involvement for the betterment of this position and the hospital.
  • Attend and actively participate in all mandatory facility in services and staff development activities as scheduled to achieve goals of teamwork and education.
  • Submit reports in a timely fashion to Business Development Director to ensure information is included in weekly and monthly reports submitted to corporate office by Business Development Director.
  • Participate actively in the weekly business development team meetings to develop strategies for meeting hospital call and admission goals, reduce duplication of efforts and provide input for monthly plans.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and knowledge of behavioral treatment principles, preferred. Certifications/Licenses: Must have a current, valid Driver’s License.
