This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $400 USD/hour, which equates to $800,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Owning the national facilities pillar: delivering new builds, major upgrades, and sustainable ops systems across 25–30 campuses
- Leading and scaling a team (SVP + VPs + staff), with full P&L ownership for the facilities pillar
- Developing and enforcing global standards for procurement, security, furniture, networking, and signage
- Building and implementing AI-first playbooks and SLAs that cut friction and accelerate every expansion cycle
- Reporting directly to the founder while coordinating with legal, finance, and regulatory peers to hit non-negotiable go-live deadlines
- Recommending from the sidelines — you’ll be the one making the calls
- Managing single-site projects in isolation — your scope is national and systemic
- Babysitting outdated processes — you’ll design and embed new, AI-driven playbooks
- Waiting for executive direction — this role drives the expansion, not reacts to it

Basic Requirements
- 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG (Principal, Partner, or AP level)
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-site execution efforts with tight timelines and real-world consequences
- Direct leadership over new-builds, large-scale upgrades, and operational systems at national or global scale
- Hands-on experience with retail buildouts and/or large-scale maintenance programs, where launch readiness and standardization were mission-critical
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams, with full budget/P&L ownership
- Exceptional structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Comfort operating with urgency, autonomy, and accountability in fast-growth or PE-backed environments
- U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel ~25%
- Experience launching or scaling regulated, multi-site ventures
- Background in education, retail, or healthcare expansion with facilities as a critical dependency
- Track record of designing and implementing AI-driven operational systems
