About This Role

As a Measure Technician, you will:

• Accurately measure window and door openings to ensure proper fit and installation
• Document site dimensions, conditions, and potential challenges using digital or manual tools
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about the process, setting expectations for installation timelines
• Collect required forms, permits, or payments as needed while representing the company with professionalism
• Resolve discrepancies between sales contracts and job site realities, recommending adjustments where needed
• Collaborate with field managers, installers, and office staff to ensure smooth scheduling and project flow
• Maintain accurate records and timely reports for ordering and production
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on customer demand
  
  

Key Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in window/door installation, construction, or field measuring
• High school diploma or equivalent required (technical/trade background preferred)
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape, laser measure, angle finder)
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret product specifications
• Familiarity with residential remodeling and construction site environments
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Professional, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting small tools/materials (mileage reimbursed)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders/scaffolds up to the 3rd floor
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• OSHA or EPA RRP certifications preferred but not required
