Items Analyst, C-130J Program- Little Rock, Arkansas

About the Job
Join our Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an Items Analyst (IA) on the US Air Force C-130J Inventory Control Point (ICP) team based at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. Our team is responsible for Total Asset Visibility (TAV) for C-130J spares and repair assets.
Our team is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day efforts in support of C-130J program requirements. Each IA will acquire the knowledge to fully utilize the C-130J program and company legacy systems to accomplish TAV in support of company and customer operational requirements. In doing so, the IA will coordinate with the C130J ICP team the actions to direct, redistribute, re-order and coordinate asset movement within the pool of program assets that will best support immediate and forecasted needs. In fulfilling this responsibility, the IA is specifically responsible for development of provisioning data, cataloging, requirements determination, and the associated ordering of initial and replenishment spares. The IA will be responsible for directing and coordinating asset movement to satisfy grounding aircraft requirements not able to be filled from existing stock. The IA will work with the engineering design authority and Technical Lead to understand change activity and the impact engineering changes have on the hardware he/she manages. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast paced and fluid environment.

What You Will Be Doing
As a US Air Force C-130J ICP IA your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Tracking of spares, repairs, creation of shipping documentation and providing overall status to the onsite customer and strategic partners.
- Establish a proactive approach to identify and mitigate supply related issues before they occur.
- Provide supply support services with the primary responsibility for day-to-day execution of the supply chain activity.
- Provide Supply Chain Management which includes provisioning, storage and transportation of assets throughout the C-130J supply chain network.
- Generate replenishment requisitions and manage Fleet Target Stocking Levels (TSLs).
- Prepare and/or coordinate required shipping documentation.
- Maintain associated data and provide upper-level reporting of assigned inventory.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
