The Industrial Engineer develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing processes and systems. They focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and optimizing the integration of employees, machines, materials, and information to produce goods or services. They analyze complex systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Industrial Engineer develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing processes and systems. They focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and optimizing the integration of employees, machines, materials, and information to produce goods or services. They analyze complex systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously optimizes manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods including line balancing, time studies, as well as both in-plant and external material flow.
- Designs and implements optimal station layouts that support the operator.
- Drives towards sustainable solutions by developing a standard workflow for new and existing products while considering safety and efficiency.
- Supports safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handling.
- Recommends improvements and/or modifications for the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters.
- Directs strategy deployment by completing Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.
- Actively promotes process innovation through listening, educating, and engaging individuals and teams.
- Aligns all activities and tools with Click Bond’s distinct cultural framework to enable successful data gathering and analysis, dialogue, problem-solving, documentation, and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitates improvement projects with the goal of enhanced upstream and/or downstream customer impact, validated with data.
- Actively pursues new knowledge in modern technology and best practices to support process improvement initiatives.
- Creates and maintains required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
- Identifies cost reduction opportunities and long-term improvement opportunities and gains alignment within organization to execute on these opportunities.
- Monitors and communicates ongoing progress of improvement implementations including goal achievement, business impact and ROI; provide analysis and guidance to assist business areas with their implementation efforts.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Understands and observes all safety guidelines and assures quality and safety by complying with all appropriate policies and procedures.
- Assists in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.

- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from an accredited university or college preferred.
- Three years of related manufacturing experience.
- This is not a supervisory position.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of materials.
- The use of safety glasses is required.
- Other equipment as needed by specific machines.
- Work performed in both a shop and office environments.
- Exposed to any number of elements, but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
- May be required to work different shifts as training or need requires.
