Position Overvie
wThe Training & Safety Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a fast-paced 3PL environment. This role ensures employees are properly trained in operational procedures, workplace safety, equipment use, and compliance standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
.Based in Buena Park and also oversee all our Training & Safety Compliance Supervisors across the company. Will travel to other facilities randomly to oversee the supervisors
.

Training & Developm
- entDesign, implement, and oversee employee training programs, including onboarding, job-specific skills, leadership development, and ongoing educati
- on.Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to 3PL operatio
- ns.Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure employee performance and retention of key knowled
- ge.Partner with operations leadership to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted training solutio
ns.
Safety & Compli
- anceLead all workplace safety initiatives in alignment with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory requirements applicable to logistics and transportat
- ion.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across warehouses, transportation fleets, and facilit
- ies.Develop, update, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and compliance progr
- ams.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing corrective action plans and root cause analy
- ses.Manage safety reporting and maintain compliance documentation for internal and external aud
its.
Culture & Continuous Improv
- ementPromote a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability across all levels of the organiza
- tion.Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and employees on best practices in safety and compli
- ance.Lead safety committees, training workshops, and compliance meetings to foster employee engage
- ment.Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure programs remain effective and up to
date.
Qualific
- ationsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (prefe
- rred).5+ years of experience in training, safety, or compliance roles within logistics, warehousing, or transport
- ation.Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and other applicable regulations in a 3PL enviro
- nment.Proven experience developing and delivering training programs to diverse employee g
- roups.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal s
- kills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced se
- tting.Professional certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent) highly desi
rable.
