Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience and expertise will also be considered.
Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Salary: This is a part-time, seasonal position paid on a semi-monthly cycle at the rate of $16.00 per hour.
Travel
Position may require to external events on an as-needed basis.
Work Environment
Work is generally sedentary in nature. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is generally performed within a professional sports arena, which include bleachers/steps.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will occasionally ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff will frequently move boxes and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

Job Description
- Assist in the execution of on-court promotions, National Anthem performances, Halftime acts, mascot skits, presentations, and other in-game game-night activities.
- Collaborate with the game director, camera crew, Emcee, performers, and Wolves staff to ensure proper timing and execution of all in-game elements.
- Assist in set-up and teardown of the arena as well as on-court props, halftime props, and giveaways.
- Assist with additional Iowa Wolves events as applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the fan experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Live Programming & Entertainment Staff.
- Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills and comfortable working both as a team and individually.
- Fun, lively, engaging personality required.
- Ability to take direction and manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and excel in an energetic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work all 24 Wolves home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical requirements include standing for 4+ hours at a time, lifting boxes/props/equipment up to 50 pounds and walking up and down stairs.
