Job Summary
Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- A Front-end Web Developer to join our Studio Web team. Specialization in creating responsive and mobile first user interfaces for applications and websites.
- Able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
- Works directly with designers and copywriters to translate visual designs into functional code.
- Will implement the layout, styling, and interactivity of our website.
- Maintaining business ownerships of assigned sections of the website, developing relationships to ensure quality, integrity, continuity and streamlined messaging for impacted customers and business needs.
- Will assist in the training, deployment and production of web-based applications.
- Develop applications using industry best web standards and processes.
- Engage in strategic planning to meet business requirements within a fast pace environment.
- Designs, develops, codes, tests, debugs and maintains web applications and web services.
- Develops and deliver websites and web applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript application in CMS site.
- Create, maintain and improve website for a responsive design and mobile first experiences.
- Assists in requirements gathering, research and fact finding to develop, refresh or modify web systems. Assists in preparing detailed specifications for web application.
- Tests and debugs applications before release or delivery.
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and efficiencies.
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 4-7 years of Professional experience in Internet Development, Information Technology, and SharePoint Development.
- Project management and organizational skills
- Hands on experience with markup languages
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (like React and Angular)
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth knowledge of entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Understanding of layout aesthetics and data structures
- Knowledge of SEO and analytic principles
- Familiarity with software and tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, Microsoft 365 Suite and CMS systems
- Ability to perform in a fast-pace environment with excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Good communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
