This position plays a key role in supporting various HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, and benefits coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organizational skill, and will serve as a resource for both employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, compliance documentation, and confidential information.
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees.
- Support the administration of payroll and employee benefits, including enrollment in health insurance and other benefit programs, while addressing employee questions.
- Assist with employee relations matters by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and supporting resolution of workplace issues.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding company policies, procedures, and HR-related matters.
- Collaborate with other HR personnel to ensure effective implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
- Perform additional administrative or HR-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to act with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and general comfort with HR systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a human resources or administrative role is preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
