J oin our team as a Fan Development Coordinator and play a key role in growing fan affinity and brand presence across the region by executing grassroots strategies and delivering impactful fan-facing initiatives. In this position, you will build meaningful marketplace relationships, contribute to tentpole campaigns, and support engagement efforts that inform audience development strategies.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Youth Programs & Activations. Schedule will include office hours, Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 p.m., with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Primary work location is the Thunder corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City. Must have valid driver’s license and transportation as some travel may be required. Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.

In this role you will:
- Execute foundational grassroots strategies and activations to build brand presence and foster community engagement
- Manage Fan Development Associates, providing guidance, scheduling, and performance feedback throughout the year
- Lead fan-facing initiatives, such as Thunder Artist Group and Changemakers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and high-quality execution
- Assist in the planning and execution of major tentpole campaigns, contributing to creative development, logistics, and on-site activation
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics of entertainment teams for grassroots initiatives and market appearance requests
- Assist with influencer marketing and networking tactics
- Identify and develop fan audiences and consumer behavior strategies to increase engagement and emotional connections through team events and fan programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in fan engagement, event coordination, or community outreach
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
