Position Summary
The EHS Coordinator will work closely with the EHS Manager and will be responsible for identifying and minimizing the risk of job-related accidents. The EHS Coordinator will monitor field operations to eliminate hazardous activities and should be well-versed in all OSHA requirements.

Position Summary
The EHS Coordinator will work closely with the EHS Manager and will be responsible for identifying and minimizing the risk of job-related accidents. The EHS Coordinator will monitor field operations to eliminate hazardous activities and should be well-versed in all OSHA requirements.
Requirements
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists EHS Manager with ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Implements BLS/BLSE safety policies and procedures to minimize safety risks.
- Advises, leads, and trains employees on various safety related topics.
- Conducts new hire safety orientation training.
- Conducts regular walk-through safety inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. (65% field work)
- Assists Safety Manager with reports in relation to accidents and safety violations to determine cause and develop corrective actions.
- Coordinates drug screenings (Pre-Employment, Random, Post Accident & Reasonable Suspicion)
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with EHS Manager and dept. managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying hazards and implementing effective controls.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written skills for delivering training and reporting findings.
- Ability to investigate incidents, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions.
- Skilled at assessing situations and developing practical solutions to mitigate risks.
- Meticulous in conducting inspections and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Flexible and responsive to changing regulations and work environments.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and drives continuous improvement.
- Proficient with MS Office and comfortable learning new software/tools.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher level.
- 1-3 years’ experience and/or related education specializing in industrial construction safety.
- Valid Driver's license and clear driving record.
- Basic knowledge of Industrial Safety work rules and Federal OSHA regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
