Job Summary:

They are seeking a Data Collection Specialist who will accurately execute data collection procedures, document information, and contribute to project improvements. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
• Learn quickly
• Execute the collection procedure accurately
• Record data
• Document any needed information associated to data
• Contribute to improvements in data collection projects by identifying any issues in tools and suggesting enhancements
• Understand changes to collection protocol in response to data needs and workflows
• Work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff
• Adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service
• Follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required or GED with 1+ year of experience in data collection, technical support, project management, data processing, machine learning, or related field
Preferred:
• Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed-oriented
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Practical knowledge of machine learning data processing needs and trade-offs
• Experience working with prototype assets
• Experience in research or data collection
• Experience with any scripting languages and Unix/Linux environment is a plus
• A good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great team work skills are a must
• Experience using MS Office, Excel, Mac OS, Confluence, JIRA, and Wiki tools.
