About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Vice President of Residential Services to oversee the operations of the Agency’s Residential Programs at Pathway Family Services in Topeka, KS. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all operations of the Residential programs are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws and the policies and procedures of the governing body. You’ll also participate in the development of short, intermediate, and long-range plans and goals for the Residential programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and oversight of the Agency’s Residential Programs.
• Establishes current and long-range goals, plans and policies subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
• Responsible for the administrative functions of the Residential programs.
• Participates in the planning, programming, and budgeting of the Residential programs.
• Responsible for the formulation and administration of Residential program policies and procedures.
• Ensues services provided by Residential Programs are of the highest caliber and consistency.
• Maintains a close working relationship with the public and private agencies involved in providing services/supports.
• Participates on Agency teams and committees at the request and/or direction of the President and/or CEO.
• Coordinates with other entities within the Agency on the delivery of services to children and families.
• Provides regular supervision and professional development and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.
• Advocates, promotes and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.
• Develops, promotes and practices teamwork in all activities.
• Will be required to travel to attend meetings, training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business. Not required to transport clients.
• Refrain from assuming any duty that is unrelated to and/or interferes with the responsibilities of the position.
  
  

Who You Are

• You have a master’s degree in Social or other Human Services degree
• You have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in the administration of Foster Care and/or Residential program or the equivalent.
• You live in Topeka Kansas within 15 miles of the Topeka City limits or will move to the residency location within 60 days of start date.
