The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to the HR department across all core functions, including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and culture development. This role plays a vital part in implementing and reinforcing the company’s values and ensuring employee satisfaction through regular communication and engagement efforts. The HR Assistant helps foster a positive and inclusive work environment by supporting administrative operations and driving culture-forward initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
General HR Support:
This role is not a remote work position. All employees must live within commuting distance of Music Row in Nashville. We are currently requiring all team members to work at a minimum of 3 days a week in the office on the QuaverEd campus and allowing 2 days remote. This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the team member's Supervisor and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
General HR Support:
- Assist in day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and processing documentation.
- Assist with coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for all employees.
- Conduct periodic employee check-ins to assess understanding of role responsibilities, workplace satisfaction, and alignment with company values.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related communications and documentation (e.g., policies, handbooks, memos).
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Support the execution of culture-building initiatives, such as recognition programs, employee events, and internal campaigns.
- Act as a culture ambassador by promoting company values and encouraging participation in wellness and engagement activities.
- Assist with new hire orientation sessions, focusing on immersing new employees in the organization's mission, values, and culture. Collect and analyze employee feedback to help measure engagement and recommend improvements.
- Help organize and facilitate team-building events and training sessions that reinforce company culture and collaboration.
- Ensure all HR procedures comply with local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation required for compliance and regulatory purposes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative or HR-related experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for company culture, employee experience, or engagement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, Asana, Slack) a plus.
