Manufacturing Engineer

About the Job
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and procedures to drive operational excellence. You will leverage your expertise in materials, tooling, and process flow to define build sequences and ensure product quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques.
Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency, reliability, and alignment with production requirements.
Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and production inefficiencies through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of available equipment and methods.
Operate within a Model-Based Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE) and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage process documentation.
Support cross-functional initiatives to improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.
Provide periodic off-shift support as needed to sustain production and ensure continuity of operations.
Travel periodically to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration activities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background and a high degree of confidence in addressing complex, unfamiliar challenges, especially in hands-on hardware environments. They will be a self-motivated problem-solver, capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team settings and supplier-facing situations.

Experience with sub-system assembly and integration into first article complete air vehicles.
Background in aerospace hardware development, integration, and manufacturing environments.
