About The Position

The Partnership Marketing Coordinator for Tampa Bay Sun FC will play a pivotal role in creating and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, fan engagement, and long-term partnerships within the sports and entertainment industry. This individual will work closely with the Manager of Corporate Partnership, internal departments, and stakeholders to design innovative marketing campaigns, maximize partnership value, and enhance the overall fan experience.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Support & Relationship Management

  • Assist in fulfilling all elements of sponsorship agreements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assets.
  • Help maintain strong relationships with partners through clear communication and reliable support.
  • Track partnership deliverables and timelines using our CRM system.

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of partner marketing campaigns across digital, social, and in-venue platforms.
  • Help ensure campaigns effectively promote both partner brands and Tampa Bay Sun FC.
  • Assist with creative requests and asset delivery for campaigns.

Event & Game Day Activation

  • Support on-site execution of sponsor activations during home matches, community events, and special promotions.
  • Assist with setup, signage, giveaways, and other sponsor-related elements to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Serve as a game day contact for select partners as needed.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, and Operations—to help develop and execute integrated sponsor campaigns.
  • Coordinate timelines and approvals to keep projects on track.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Help compile campaign recaps, reports, and presentations that highlight activation results and impact.
  • Support the creation of monthly, mid-season, and end-of-year partner reports.

Creative Asset Management

  • Assist in creating and managing sponsor content for use on social media, in-stadium signage, and other marketing channels.
  • Work with the creative team to request and review assets in line with brand guidelines.

Fan Engagement Integration

  • Look for opportunities to incorporate sponsor offers, experiences, and messaging into fan-facing platforms.
  • Support activations that enhance the matchday experience and build stronger connections between fans, partners, and the club.

Administrative & Budget Support

  • Help manage budgets for activations and track related expenses.
  • Provide logistical support for printing, production, and shipping of marketing materials.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in sports sponsorship, event management, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities effectively
