Position: IT Specialist

Miranda Construction LLC, an established general contractor in Louisville, KY, has an immediate opening for a full-time seasoned IT Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing all technology and equipment at Miranda Construction

The IT Specialist core function is to assist with on-site technical IT support. Such responsibilities will include assisting with the support and maintenance of network infrastructure, computer hardware and software, upkeep of system documentation, and daily problem resolution.

Essential Functions:

• Provide day-to-day support for employee workstations, user accounts and software applications
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including hardware and software set up and/or deletion
• Maintain computer systems, networks, printers, mobile phones, TVs and other IT equipment
• Monitor network performance, connectivity issues and network infrastructure
• Manage data storage, ensuring data safety and security
• Maintain upgrades to software applications
• Research and enhance existing project management software for increased efficiency and maximum effectiveness. implement changes and assistance in training team members
• Providing basic training on IT tools for new and existing team members
• Manage user accounts and permissions
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Candidate should have knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and be familiar with or attend training on other required applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and explain technical concepts
• Adaptability and ability to learn new technologies
• Strong knowledge of IT security and best practices
• Knowledge and experience with Procore Construction Management software a plus
• Detail oriented, organized and strong follow-through
• Self-motivated and eager to grow technical skillset
