The Assistant Warehouse Manager will work collaboratively with the Warehouse Manager to support and guide the Production team, ensuring efficient task distribution and timely completion of work. Responsibilities also include assisting with the operation of manufacturing equipment, ordering supplies, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Requirements

Essential Functions

• Operate and assist with the maintenance of the forklift as needed.
• Support the operation of the manufacturing equipment under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
• Transport products using a box truck when necessary.
• Manage and maintain inventory located at LOGAN Industries.
• Utilize third-party logistics (3PL) systems for shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking.
• Complete all required work orders and documentation related to production.
• Communicate any production concerns, delays, or supply requests to the Warehouse Manager.
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting housekeeping staff when needed.
• Attend departmental and organizational meetings as required.
• Create a positive, engaging atmosphere.
• Work cooperatively with Production staff, vendors, and other LOGAN employees.

• Serve as a positive role model for individuals supported.
• Advocate for and uphold the human rights of all individuals served.
• Participate in mandatory and assigned staff training.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in material handling, shipping, or receiving in an industrial environment.
• At least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• Must exhibit a positive attitude and be committed to supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Willingness to learn and apply positive behavioral support and instructional strategies.
• Basic computer skills and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must be physically capable of performing job-related tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching on a regular basis.
• Valid driver’s license required.
