Offering employment and vocational services, nutritionally assisted substance use disorder treatment, recovery housing, and job readiness training and placement, our team can help individuals overcome barriers to success.

This position will serve as the primary point of contact to register, orient, and facilitate consumers through Flying High Inc’s Professional Development Center employment services process. Will also provide outreach activities to educate the community about Flying HIGH services.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact person for admissions into employment services. Will obtain applicant information, screen individuals, and assist in the completion of the registration process.
  • Interview, screen and enroll clients into appropriate services and facilitate consumers through the orientation process.
  • Administer all required paperwork and online services such as registrations, questionnaires, occupational assessments, and outcome surveys.
  • Input client data into the data collection system and generate required reports in accordance with standards.
  • Connect clients to appropriate case management services.
  • Assist the WC Manager in the development and implementation of the orientation process, inclusive of presentations and scheduling.
  • Will conduct workshops and events as assigned.
  • Provide outreach, marketing, and recruitment within general population to generate market available services.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations for the program.
  • Support and assist the WC Manager with the attainments of established goals for the PDC.
  • Attend and participate in required trainings each year as required by management.
  • Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in human services or High school diploma or equivalency and 2 years’ experience in a private or public human service environment; or 2 years’ experience working with clients who have a criminal background, addictions, or other barriers to employment.
  • Ability to interact clearly and effectively, through written and oral communication, with students, peers, the community, and management.
  • Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
