About the Job
Storytelling is at the heart of what we do, and the HEAT Broadcasting team is seeking a creative and hardworking Content Associate to join a cohort of early-career professionals in producing content for live television & radio broadcasts. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and constantly innovating their approach to content production. We are looking for an individual who is a great teammate, excels at collaboration, yet has the prowess to individually take an idea from conception to completion.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or technical school; Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Support production and content creation for Television & Radio Broadcast
- Edit long-form and short-form video & audio content
- Research production elements, pitch new content ideas & shoot video in different environments
- Help Log, organize, and label video and audio assets for future use
- Produce storytelling elements, highlights, teases, open,s and montages for shows and live events
- Assist with live events by gathering video and audio elements for broadcast.
- Collaborate with Producers, Broadcast Talent and Graphic teams to deliver polished content
- Collaborate with other marketing divisions and content creators to ensure efficiency of concepts a
- Stay ahead of trends in sports media and video production
- Utilize videographer skills (if applicable) on various broadcast shoots
- Attend and contribute ideas during staff & departmental meetings

- Passion for engaging audiences, collaborating with others, and crafting creative ideas
- Professional Communication and Organizational Skills
- Leadership experience in a professional role, organization, or extra-curricular endeavor
- Awareness of HEAT Broadcast Content (Shows, broadcasters, events, etc)
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premier, Final Cut, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Desire to learn videography
