Design Consultant

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated people who enjoy the relationship selling environment. We offer you the opportunity to provide unique and exciting decorating solutions to our customers.

Previous experience in Design or Fashion is required. If you are an ASID member that would be a plus! Through one on one coaching and educational development, we will help you build relationships with customers to help them reflect their own personal sense of style. Bassett also continues your training throughout your employment with updates on product knowledge as well as Design Certification with Bassett University.

With our generous commission-based compensation plan, your income will be limited only by the amount of effort you apply. For example, a design consultant who averages $50,000 in sales per month will earn about $42,000 annually. A monthly sales average of $70,000 generates an annual income of about $67,000 *.

What you need: A flair for design, an outgoing personality, a polished image, and an ability to close the deal!

Position Requirements Are

• Computer/Tablet skills
• Demonstrated flair for design
• Experience with 3D floorplanning
• Desire to work in a competitive commissioned sales environment
• 40 hour work week, no nights
• Consideration for Part-Time with weekend availability
