Interior Designer/Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer/Procurement Specialist to join our team at Casa Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design and procurement efforts across our facilities, to oversee the upkeep and improvement of our facilities, ensuring alignment with our brand and operational goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role will collaborate with various departments and senior leadership to drive construction projects, purchase goods and services at optimal prices, improve facility presentation, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the facilities present a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our guests and employees.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Develop and implement design plans, including layout, selecting materials, finishes and color schemes
• Collaborate with VP of Plant Operations & VP of Operations on construction projects, spatial planning, procurement, developing and meeting budgets & timelines
• Collaborate with CEO & stakeholders to understand design requirements & preferences
• Work with VP of Branding & Marketing on signage and aesthetics, ensuring brand consistency
• Conduct site analyses & space planning to optimize interior and exterior layouts
• Provide a fresh perspective on facility presentation, decluttering, and improvement
• Manage painters and maintenance staff on projects, monitoring productivity and timelines
• Create and manage project timelines & schedules, ensuring timely completion & within budget
• Vet vendors, research & evaluate suppliers, products and services to ensure quality and value
• Creating and updating a preferred vendor list with approved quality products & services
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms with vendors
• Work with A/P on processing payments as needed
• Collaborate with the facility administrators on identifying & addressing expense categories that need to be reined in or better managed
• Help facility staff with procuring any equipment or supplies needed at the best price
• Obtain multiple bids on projects to ensure best prices & savings
• Advise on interior and exterior design, including landscaping
• Assist with design and procurement projects outside of Casa, as assigned by CEO
• Manage inventory of durable medical equipment, construction materials, furniture, and fixtures
• Establish designer accounts with discounts for Casa
• Create a file with each facility's colors and branding guidelines
• Utilize purchasing platforms and manage purchasing processes and approvals for orders and payment
• Optimize purchasing processes and streamline systems for requesting quotes, negotiating prices and placing orders for supplies, services and equipment
• Conduct site visits as needed to ensure design and procurement accuracy
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products and technologies

*Requirements:*

• 3+ years of experience in interior design and procurement
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of design software and inventory management tools
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.) and procurement tools
