Key Responsibilities
- Transports vehicles between dealerships in a safe manner;
- Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of vehicles to designated locations;
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving;
- Provides and ensures exceptional internal and external customer service in department;
- Inspects outgoing and incoming vehicles for damage or missing equipment;
- Verifies that all documents and payment are received from other dealerships;
- Accounts for all trip expenses including gasoline, tolls and other allowable charges;
- Advises manager if transport vehicles need repairs and maintenance;
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of personal work area and transport vehicles;
- Abides by the group’s policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of area public road system;
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed; This is an on-call position; which includes, a required 3rd Saturday of the month, to work at our auction house!
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical language;
- Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines;
- Comprehensive training;
