Job Summary:

The Global Forensic and Justice Center (GFJC) at Florida International University is seeking an IT Generalist II. This role will provide IT and data management support while acting as a liaison between the department and FIU IT.

Responsibilities:

• Provide information technology and data management support to the department

• Serve as liaison between the department and FIU IT

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology field and two (2) years of experience in the field; OR six (6) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

• Eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) clearance.

• Knowledge of PC and Apple platforms, networking, security, and other cyberinfrastructure needs associated with research processes.

• Experience with the design and implementation stages of software applications, and database systems development for multiple platforms.

• Familiarity with data management and statistical computing packages, including SAS, and electronic data capture systems, preferably REDCap.
