Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. Interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure quality parts are delivered, to the right place, at the right time
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
- Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activities.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Manages contractual agreements, negotiate terms and conditions, interact with legal counsel.
- Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
- Ability to take big data, analyze and summarize for executive presentations
- Team player, collaboration with multi-functional groups
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong data analysis skills are a plus
- Knowledge or experience in manufacturing and manufacturing processes is advantageous
- Familiarity with MRP Systems, with preference given to SAP experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
