Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $20.83 hourly
Life Span Range: $20.83/hour - $24.03/hour
Work Location: Palmdale (Family Resource Center)

Benefits And Perks
The Porter will have to posses outstanding customer service in all areas of building maintenance and operations. The Porter will provide essential services relative to the upkeep of the property by creating curb appeal through cleaning and removing litter from the grounds, hallways, dumpster areas and all other common areas on the property, care & maintenance of company supplies and equipment and assisting the maintenance crew members with make-readies when needed. Must be a team player, have good communication skills, be customer-service oriented, courteous and be able to provide an efficient response to requests at all times.
All Maintenance Personnel are responsible for complying with the community's operating and safety policies and procedures, and for adhering to federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the operation of the community. This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal, and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Interior/exterior cleanliness of the building; trash removal, assisting in and special projects as assigned.
- Set-up and breakdown of conference rooms for meetings.
- Move furniture and chairs as needed.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
- Open office as needed.
- Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Re-stock kitchen and office supplies.
- Clean on a regular basis or as assigned building to include: kitchen, bathrooms, offices, childcare rooms, classrooms.
- Upkeep of bathroom, kitchen and common areas.
- Labeling and organizing storage rooms.
- Clean the parking lot.
- Some travel to Lancaster and Valenica locations required (25%)
- Ability to follow through and carry out work orders, Hard-working and energetic, possess strong people skills, and a team player.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient using Outlook for emails and On-line timecards.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
