Position Summary: Assist Corn Maze Manager in providing logistical oversight of participants, maze attractions and facilities. Ensure safety of all participants while providing a welcoming environment and promoting Eliada’s mission, “Helping Children Succeed”.
Major Responsibilities
Position reports to: Antoine Byndum, Advancement Data Services & Special Events Coordinator
Availability: Must be available for staff orientation. Must be available to work every week from September 30th - November 1st (Tuesday-Friday AM) for 10-20 hours per week. Must be available to work three shifts between Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Shifts are available based on private/corporate Corn Maze event space rentals, and can fluctuate. Additional shifts are available on weekend dates.
Requirements
Experience: Customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Experience driving a tractor is desired, not required (on-site training provided). Must be 18 years or older.
Skills/physical/working conditions: Must possess a valid driver's license, pass background check, and drug test. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk around indoors and outdoors for duration of shift, up to 12 hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Major Responsibilities
- Assist Corn Maze managers in monitoring all maze attractions, restrooms, and common areas for functionality and event cleanliness.
- Sell tickets and merchandise.
- Drive hayride tractors (as needed- training provided).
- Assist in all opening/set-up and closing/clean-up tasks.
- Assist in volunteers roles if help is needed. This includes running the corn cannons, monitoring the slides, selling pumpkins, assisting with concessions, collecting corn, trash detail, etc.
- Assist Corn Maze managers in fulfilling requests from customers (field trips and corporate parties) as needed.
- Ensure the safety of all participants, employees and volunteers throughout the Corn Maze.
- Ensure the provision of quality services to all guests through participation in the agency’s CQI process.
- Display competence & responsiveness to cultural differences present in both customer & employee populations.
