As a Logistics Manager, you'll be a critical pillar of the Firefly Supply Chain & Inventory Management Team. Step up, contribute meaningfully, and shape the future with us.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier engagement strategies to support company objectives.
• Champion, organize, maintain, and guide small business supplier program to meet company and program objectives.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and engaging new potential suppliers.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier capabilities meet the current and future needs of the business.
• Drive internal communication through collaboration with Firefly stakeholders (M&P, Quality, Engineering, and other functional areas).
• Manage supplier risk, including regular assessments and development of mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
• Facilitate regular business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics, future opportunities, and challenges.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to the company's ethical standards and corporate social responsibility commitments.
• Work closely with the legal department to resolve any contractual issues that may arise.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supply chain.
• Support supplier integration into the company's systems and processes.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure product specifications and quality requirements are met.
• Lead cross-functional teams in resolving critical supply issues.
• Organize and participate in supplier workshops, conferences, and other events to foster supplier relationships and continuous learning.
  
  

Required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role with a focus on supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Great project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Proven track record of managing suppliers and improving supplier performance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in supplier management.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Time management skills, with the ability to separate the important tasks from the noise
• Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks on-time
• MS Office (including Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Software operation and data entry skills
• Possess a valid “Real ID” driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks
• Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including
• Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time
• Crouch, bend, and reach
  

Desired

• Aerospace Industry experience
• Odoo ERP/MRP knowledge.
• ITAR experience.
• Experience in R&D, Proto-typing and test environment a plus.
• Experience in AS9100 environment.
