QUALIFICATIONS
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier engagement strategies to support company objectives.
- Champion, organize, maintain, and guide small business supplier program to meet company and program objectives.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and engaging new potential suppliers.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier capabilities meet the current and future needs of the business.
- Drive internal communication through collaboration with Firefly stakeholders (M&P, Quality, Engineering, and other functional areas).
- Manage supplier risk, including regular assessments and development of mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
- Facilitate regular business reviews with key suppliers to discuss performance metrics, future opportunities, and challenges.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to the company's ethical standards and corporate social responsibility commitments.
- Work closely with the legal department to resolve any contractual issues that may arise.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supply chain.
- Support supplier integration into the company's systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure product specifications and quality requirements are met.
- Lead cross-functional teams in resolving critical supply issues.
- Organize and participate in supplier workshops, conferences, and other events to foster supplier relationships and continuous learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role with a focus on supplier management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Great project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Proven track record of managing suppliers and improving supplier performance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in supplier management.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Time management skills, with the ability to separate the important tasks from the noise
- Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks on-time
- MS Office (including Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Software operation and data entry skills
- Possess a valid “Real ID” driver’s license, and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks
- Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including
- Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time
- Crouch, bend, and reach
- Aerospace Industry experience
- Odoo ERP/MRP knowledge.
- ITAR experience.
- Experience in R&D, Proto-typing and test environment a plus.
- Experience in AS9100 environment.
