As we expand our footprint in high-stakes environments, we’re seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to work closely with our local leadership and Project Managers to drive growth, manage key accounts, and expand our service offerings.
Position Overview
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and collaborating with the Vice President of Business Development, local leadership, and our project management team in securing new business opportunities, particularly in the commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical markets. This role will also drive service sales and account management initiatives for key clients, ensuring the development of lasting relationships and consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge and a customer-first mindset.
This role will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing and work closely with the local leadership and project management team.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
- Coordinate and work closely with local leadership, project teams, and VP of Business Development to develop a compelling business development plan and targeted clients' local strategy.
- Proactively identify and develop new project opportunities within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, and other market sectors, as per the strategic Business Development plan.
- Build and nurture relationships with general contractors, construction managers, facility managers, engineers, and developers.
- Coordinate and work closely with local leadership, estimating teams, and the corporate marketing team to develop compelling client presentations.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and networking events to identify opportunities early in the development cycle.
- Maintain a well-qualified pipeline of active prospects with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Promote the company’s full range of electrical service offerings, including on-demand repair, preventative maintenance, and small-scale electrical upgrades.
- Identify and secure new service contracts with hospitals, data centers, industrial facilities, and institutional clients.
- Work closely with the service team to deliver timely, high-quality solutions and exceed customer expectations.
- Serve as one of the primary liaisons for key clients, particularly in high-performance environments like healthcare and mission-critical operations.
- Ensure client needs are met across multiple projects and service engagements.
- Provide regular check-ins, strategic reviews, and proactive solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Track and document all client activity using CRM tools to support transparency and follow-through.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, upcoming projects, and key players in Colorado’s construction and facility management sectors.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and contribute insights to leadership for business planning and strategic direction.
- Represent the company at relevant trade shows, industry associations, and community events.
- 3–5 years of business development, account management, or service sales experience within the electrical, MEP, or construction industry.
- Proven track record of developing new business and managing key client accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiar with using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client engagement.
- Familiar with AEC industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience working with facilities operators or general contractors.
