Procurement Engineer Staff

About the Job
You will be the Procurement Engineer Staff for the Upper Tier Integrated Air Missile Defense (UTIAMD) Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. Our team is responsible for reducing risk within the supply base and supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Procurement Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the GSC team, focusing on requirements management, risk and opportunity management, and strategic sourcing. You will play a key role in identifying affordability opportunities and creating supplier capacity models.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

- Providing strategic sourcing support and identifying affordability opportunities
- Creating and validating supplier capacity models
- Participating in process improvement and corrective action activities, such as PFMEA and RCCA analyses
