This entry-level position supports the IT Asset Management team in tracking and managing the lifecycle of hardware and software assets. The role involves maintaining accurate records and assisting with audits to ensure compliance.

This position is available onsite at our League City, TX/South Shore Harbor location.

What You'll Do

  • Asset Tracking: Assists in tracking IT assets from acquisition to disposal.
  • Inventory Management: Maintains accurate inventory records including any required data entry.
  • Audit Support: Supports audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensures adherence to licensing, data privacy and security policies.
  • System Utilization: Utilizes systems like ServiceNow for asset management tasks.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Cost Efficiency: Identifies and escalates inefficient licensing costs to more senior members of the IT Asset Management team.
  • Communication: Communicates clearly with team members and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Assists in maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and reports issues related to asset management.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in an IT / Cybersecurity field, a finance related field, or equivalent job experience
  • MS Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
