Data Analyst - Entry Level

Job_Summary:

7-Eleven is a convenience retailer store with a rich history and a mission to contemporize the brand. The Data Analyst role is primarily focused on supporting data analytics and reporting capabilities to drive decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and maintain dashboards and recurring performance reports

• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs to uncover trends and improvement opportunities

• Translate complex business needs into analytics solutions through stakeholder collaboration

• Develop analytical solutions and perform data modeling using Python and SQL

• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives

• Collaborate with data engineering and IT to enhance pipelines and reporting infrastructure

• Document reporting workflows and identify areas for process automation

Qualifications:

-Required:

• Bachelor’s/4-year degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles

• Advanced Excel and strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Alteryx

• Experience working with large datasets and creating scalable analytical solutions

• Solid grasp of data modeling, forecasting, and ETL processes

• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

• Must understand the impact/use of multi-spreadsheet linking capabilities and must have ability to quickly learn systems for implementation/development.

• Critical thinking, analytics, and problem-solving skills.
