Job Description BAE Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst, on the Data Analysis, Products, and Services (DAPS) team.

The Data Analyst develops and develops and delivers process functions and data analytics, to support the F-35 Prognostics Health Management (PHM) Platform. This capability aids customers in understanding software anomalies and provides machine-based decision support driving field maintenance actions and supply chain logistics. The applicant must have an acumen for problem solving and possess the ability to analyze and deliver findings to support internal and external customer needs. Must possess organizational skills to prepare and present findings to the broader team.



The Data Analyst Responsibilities Include


  • Responsible for developing and maintaining analytic products for prognostic performance.
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Managing a diverse team of data analysts and data science professionals
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
  • Report generation and visualization for internal and external customers
  • Problem-solving and decision-making support
  • Cross-team communication and collaboration

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related field, and four years of professional work experience.

6+ years’ experience in data analytics

Experience using SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Postgress

Experience developing and delivering briefings and reports to internal and external customers and management

Knowledge of large database structure

Experience Cleaning and preparing data, analyses and exploration, data visualization using tools like Excel, Tableau or Power BI.

Understanding of foundational statistics concepts.

understanding of prognostic health management.

Willingness to learn proprietary coding languages.

Knowledge of Data Analytics / Data Science techniques as applied to large, imperfect datasets.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with general guidance from technical manager.

Skilled at communicating ideas to a diverse group of technical and non-technical peers

The ability to read technical documents and explain the concepts to a non-technical audience

The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line is seeking a uniquely qualified and motivated individual to join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program as a Product Test Engineer. This individual will be responsible for Test Engineering support to the production line.

As a Product Test Engineer for THAAD, responsibilities of the job will include but not be limited to:



Key Responsibilities


  • Support the test and troubleshooting of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s), modules, and sub-assemblies, working directly with Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing test personnel staff to debug failures down to the module and component level.
  • Focus on continuous improvement opportunities for the test processes.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills


  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of experience, Associate's degree with 4-5 years of experience, or one year of experience with a Master's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in product testing, test engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced circuit analysis skills to support troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills


  • Experience with NI LabWindows CVI and NI TestStand.
  • Experience with VXI or other concurrent instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with military / high reliability test processes, including environmental stress screening.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in US defense industry manufacturing operations is highly desirable for this position.
  • Experience with Lean Systems and/or Six Sigma, continuous improvements, 5S and meeting compliance requirements.


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
