We're Hiring: Structural Welder!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Welder to join our team in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques, be detail-oriented, and have a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Location: Newport News, VA

Role: Structural Welder

Pay Rate: $38/hr

Duration: Long-term contract

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG hardwire, stick, and flux core welding processes.
• Weld and fabricate components using a variety of metals with precision.
• Able to read and interpret blueprint and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Follow proper weld preparation, execution, and finishing standards.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Must have at least 5 years of welding experience.
• Must have experience in MIG hardwire, stick, and flux core welding.
• Must have a mixture of shop and shipyard experience.
• Must have experience working on different metals aluminum stainless steel, copper nickel, yellow brass, titanium, cast iron, cast steel, cast metals.
• Pass the weld test for MIG hardwire, stick, and flux core.
