About Us

Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is a rapidly growing mental health and substance use treatment center for teens and families. We provide PHP and IOP intensive programs rooted in family involvement and clinical excellence. We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing to spearhead our growth in brand awareness, outreach, and digital engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive census growth across all levels of care
  • Define and maintain brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across platforms
  • Collaborate with leadership on program launches, market positioning, and campaign development
  • Establish KPIs, monitor conversions, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Oversee website content, SEO, and landing page performance to increase qualified inquiries
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns targeting families, schools, and referral partners

Events & Community Outreach

  • Represent AWA at local/national conferences, school presentations, and mental health events
  • Plan and execute provider luncheons, community-facing events, and open houses

Social Media

  • Grow and manage Facebook and WhatsApp groups for parents, alumni, and referral sources
  • Manage social media content (posts, short-form video, testimonials) across strategically chosen platforms (e.g., TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter)
  • Monitor and manage online reputation (Google reviews, feedback collection, and responses)

Creative & Content

  • Create social media content, blogs, and digital assets using Canva/Adobe or external vendors
  • Design and produce print materials (flyers, brochures, postcards) to support outreach and admissions

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in behavioral health, healthcare, or education
  • Proficiency with digital platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Mailchimp/Constant Contact, WordPress/Squarespace
  • Strong writing, content development, and project management skills
  • Experience organizing events and conferences
  • Graphic design and video editing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare marketing compliance is preferred
