Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Supply & Demand Planner will be responsible for leading the detailed item supply & demand planning function. They are responsible for Item/Plant/Key Account forecasts, material planning, inventory control, and scheduling that support strategic targets for Forecast Accuracy, End Customer Service level and inventory turns, create and translate strategic production plans into finished product schedules and oversee the receiving and tracking throughout the production process to ensure audit proof tracing of all materials. The Supply & Demand Planner will lead the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Demand Reviews that support Sales and Operations Planning. This position has strong interfaces between the Sales, PLM and Supply Planning teams.
The Supply & Demand Planner will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of planning data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of planning principles, theories and concepts. They will formulate the solutions for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired planning knowledge.
The Supply & Demand Planner will collaborate with key associates in sales, PLM, and operations throughout the demand and supply planning process to help support revenue growth and profitability through improved line planning, forecast accuracy and reduced supply chain costs.
The Supply & Demand Planner will work together with these groups to drive to a consensus demand plan which will be used to drive critical downstream business processes. This position will provide timely information and recommendations to Operations and PLM. They will lead planning strategies and processes that result in high forecast accuracy and on-time order fulfillment. The Supply & Demand Planner will drive long-range annual and product-type opportunity analysis and demand forecast strategies. Also, supporting the company’s culture and business mission by promoting communication, teamwork, and the respectful treatment of all individuals.
Responsibilities
The pay for this role ranges from $68,000 - $91,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.Actual pay within this range may be determined based onthecandidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on sales trends, market analysis, and historical data in excel. Notify sales/supply teams forecast deviations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to gather and validate forecast inputs. Report out key KPIs (Forecast Accuracy (MAPE), Actuals vs Forecast, Forecast vs Budget, Forecast Fidelity) to leadership. Manage PIR in SAP
- Translate demand forecasts into supply plans to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Identify and resolve supply chain issues, bottlenecks, or risks in a timely manner.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for forecast errors and recommend improvements.
- Manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Write PR/POs to cover demand (sales orders and forecast)
- Help ensure purchase contracts are in place to enable POs to be written, applies to third parties not intercompany. Coordinate and schedule production and manage deliveries with suppliers and logistics.
- Analyze KPIs (forecast accuracy, fill rate, OTIF, inventory turnover, etc.) and create actionable reports.
- Partner with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely delivery and capacity alignment.
- Support product launches, promotions, and lifecycle management through proper planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management in food and beverage manufacturing is required.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle, NetSuite, Kinaxis, or similar).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
