Expected pay for this position is $38.02 - $44.73/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, Database Administrators evaluate, plan, design, configure and project manage implementations of commercial database software application systems. Analyze, test, troubleshoot and maintain installed systems and support users. Provide documentation to support system design, testing and training. Assist with the management of customer expectations and customer interactions and participates in team quality management initiatives. Guide and advise less-experienced Database Administrators.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of healthcare information technology at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Computer Science or other closely related field in order to understand information technology principles. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Certifications at minimum required levels defined by Epic must be maintained.
- Experience in information technology customer service is required.
- Ability to develop standards and demonstrate commitment to excellence.
- Ability to analyze situation/information and formulate a plan of action that is in line with business and financial constraints.
- Ability to assess the effectiveness of policies/procedures and to recommend improvements.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely and translate technical features in terms of business impact.
- Ability to create detailed supporting documentation and develop technical documents for a variety of audience.
