IT Support Technician

We’re currently seeking an IT Support Tech to join our team in Bakersfield, CA and supporting surrounding regions!

The schedule for this role will be Tuesday - Saturday 9am-6pm.

The Information Technology (IT) Support Tech is responsible for assisting with the technology, maintenance, networking, security, and overall IT stability of the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will build rapport with staff and customers, solve problems, and enjoy learning across a dynamic environment.

What you will do:

• Provide world-class technical support
• Resolve desktop, laptop and application issues submitted via the service desk
• Build and configure systems, set up email, and install software
• Work independently, taking ownership of issues and escalating when needed
• Monitor data backups and system alerts/logs
• Create documentation and user guides
• Join local meetings when necessary
• Performs onsite installation of IT equipment (desktop, routers, kiosks, IT Cabinets, etc)
• Provides onsite and remote technical support to all stores
• Contributes to ongoing efforts to improve policies and procedures
• Completes projects assigned, including but not limited to in house equipment setup, site requests, writing of product documentation, and testing of equipment.
• Up to 25% travel is required
• Performs other duties as assigned
