Quality Control Chemist

• Seeking a Chemist position in Quality Control to join our team. The Chemist II will perform laboratory testing within a fast-paced cGMP environment.
• Performs test methods validations for clinical and commercial projects.
• Understands and maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Understands, implements and maintains cGMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Performs a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained.
• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks within required timelines and works with others to accomplish business objectives.
• Authors validation protocols and reports as well as corresponding test methods.
• Support laboratory investigations in a timely manner.
• Support a variety of testing techniques upon completion of training.
  
  

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent science degree and 2+ years of related work experience.
• Advance testing/CE-SDS, HPLC or ELISA existing experience and troubleshooting experience
• Spectrophotometric concentration determination
• Quality Control testing of phase III and commercial products
• Experience with empower audit trail
• QC background
• Documentation skills
• Empower or Softmax / PLA software experience is a plus
• Experience with capillary electrophoresis testing is required.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
