Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and restocking pharmaceuticals.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in compounding medications as needed following established protocols.
- Perform quality control checks on medications and supplies.
- Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations is advantageous.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and technology.
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License required.
