- Assists with all daily warehouse functions (shipping, receiving, pulling and consolidating orders, documentation of work). Oversee inventory processes, loading and unloading. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Procurement of warehouse inventory to include lubricants/DEF
- Evaluate and manage staff performance. Recruit and select Warehouse and Driver staff. Organize orientation and training of new staff members. Coach, mentor and discipline staff as needed.
- Dispatch equipment and drivers to fulfill customer orders. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Submit ad hoc capital expenditure requests for equipment with justification to Branch Manager as needed or required.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s policy and procedure
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- 3 years’ experience in the oil/lubricant field
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
