We’re looking to hire a Title Specialist.

As a Title Specialist at ACU of Texas, you’ll play a key role in supporting our lending operations by preparing, submitting, and tracking all vehicle titles on behalf of the Credit Union. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure lien perfection, accurate records, and prompt title processing. This role requires strong communication with both internal staff and external members, as well as a solid understanding of title documentation and compliance.

The Position Responsibilities Are

• Manage vehicle title tracking program. This includes updating the title log of unperfected titles and perfecting liens on all collateralized loans with weekly trips to Texas DMV and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
• Process all outstanding titlwork including gathering missing documentation from the member or another financial institution.
• Assist with training new lenders on the titlework process and maintaining accuracy of the Titlework Manual; Be a resource on all aspects of Texas DMV and Texas Parks and Wildlife titling rules and regulations and maintain current files of each state's vehicle and boat recording rules, requirements, fees and forms.
• Process loan payoff checks and document information for additional processing.
• Verify and process and release titles based on paid off loan reporting each week and title requests. Maintain updated report for titles that remain outstanding and follow-up as needed to resolve. Update loan referral spreadsheet based on loan payoffs for the week.
• Serve as primary backup to Support Specialist with knowledge of vehicle draft payments.
• Track and monitor UCC filings for consumer and business loans.
• Mail batch policies to insurance carrier.
• Provide notary services for titles department documentation as needed.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
