About The Job
We’re hiring multiple full-time Dishwashers to support our Residential Dining operations across various shifts.
Dishwashers play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our dining facilities at Ekdahl Dining Center (Mrs. E’s), North College Cafe, and South Dining Commons. Key responsibilities include operating dish machines, washing and sanitizing service ware, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area, restocking service ware, promptly communicating supply needs, and assisting in the training of part-time staff.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork. The ideal Dishwasher candidate will have at least one year’s experience in a similar or relevant position in a high-volume, commercial kitchen environment.
An exemplary Residential Dining candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently, reliability, adherence to sanitation practices, effective communication, and a cooperative spirit.
Work Availability
This is a full-time, year-round position with multiple scheduling options available. All employees are required to work at least one weekend shift per week. No late-night shifts. Stable scheduling.
Shifts range between 6:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. and vary by location:

- AM Dishwashers: 6:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Midday Dishwashers: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- PM Dishwashers: 12 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a similar or related position in a high-volume commercial kitchen
- ServSafe certification or be willing to become certified within six months of employment.
