Job Summary Blockchain Engineer

Serve as a Senior Blockchain Engineer/Developer focused on digital assets and blockchain platform development.
Work within a back-office financial markets technology team, supporting functions like securities clearing, trade processing, settlement, and asset movement.
Build and support digital asset platforms with integration to blockchain networks (not a generic crypto/Web3 role).
Apply blockchain experience specifically in enterprise, financial services, clearing, settlement, custody, or asset movement environments.
Design and implement solutions involving blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, wallet management, key management, validator/node connectivity, and blockchain network integration.
Utilize expertise in backend/platform engineering within enterprise-level environments.
Collaborate with team members to shape technology strategy and direction as it evolves.
Ensure secure and efficient connectivity to public and/or private blockchain networks.
Manage public/private cryptographic keys and wallet systems.
Integrate blockchain platforms with traditional financial systems as needed.
Participate in interviews (WebEx and onsite/in-person) and work onsite 4 days a week (with 1 day remote).

Preferred/Additional Responsibilities

Leverage experience in financial services, banking, capital markets, custody, payments, or trade processing.
Contribute to back-office technology solutions and event-driven architecture.
Use programming skills in Java, Scala, or similar backend languages to build robust solutions.
Support the ongoing development and maintenance of digital asset platforms.

Location: Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ (onsite 4 days/week, local candidates preferred).
