TEAM MOBILE HEALTH CARE

Position Summary

Team Mobile Health Care is seeking a motivated, organized, and results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. The Healthcare Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, identify, and hire qualified healthcare professionals to support our growing behavioral health transportation operations throughout Tennessee and Georgia.

This position reports directly to the Regional Human Resources Director and works closely with Operations leadership to ensure staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and established hiring procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Paramedics, Ambulance Drivers, Dispatchers, and other healthcare and operational professionals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Recruit qualified EMTs, Paramedics, Ambulance Drivers, Dispatchers, and other positions as assigned.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Post and manage job advertisements across iCIMS, Indeed, social media, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, availability, and suitability.
  • Coordinate interviews between qualified applicants and hiring managers.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to identify staffing shortages, hiring priorities, and workforce needs.
  • Participate in job fairs, community outreach, recruitment events, and partnerships with EMT and Paramedic training programs.

Applicant Tracking and Hiring Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and current applicant records in the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Verify required licenses, certifications, and credentials for healthcare positions.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, motor vehicle record reviews, and other applicable screenings.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal and state employment laws, company policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.

Onboarding and New Hire Coordination

  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure candidates complete all pre-employment requirements before their start dates.
  • Coordinate anticipated start dates and new hire orientation schedules with Operations and HR.
  • Track outstanding onboarding documents, credentials, and pre-employment clearances.
  • Maintain communication with new hires to support a positive transition into employment.
  • Assist with recruitment-related employee retention initiatives as directed by the Regional HR Director.

Recruitment Reporting and Performance

  • Maintain accurate weekly recruitment and hiring status reports.
  • Track open positions, applicant volume, interview activity, offers, accepted offers, and anticipated start dates.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and staffing progress.
  • Provide regular recruitment updates to the Regional HR Director.
  • Identify recruitment challenges and recommend strategies to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and hiring managers to prevent unnecessary hiring delays.

KEY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The Healthcare Recruiter Will Be Expected To

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified applicants for priority positions.
  • Provide consistent and timely communication to applicants and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and updated recruitment trackers and ATS records.
  • Meet established hiring goals and recruitment deadlines.
  • Submit weekly recruitment reports to the Regional Human Resources Director.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, and urgency throughout the hiring process.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a professional healthcare transportation environment and requires regular communication with Human Resources, Operations leadership, and job applicants across Tennessee and Georgia.

Occasional travel to company locations, recruitment events, and job fairs may be required.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

Minimum of two years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred.

Healthcare, EMS, ambulance transportation, or high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems; iCIMS experience preferred.

Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment regulations, and hiring best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple job openings and recruitment priorities simultaneously.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting EMTs, Paramedics, and other emergency medical services professionals.

Knowledge of Tennessee and Georgia healthcare staffing requirements.

Experience conducting recruitment campaigns, attending job fairs, and developing talent pipelines.

Familiarity with background screening, professional credential verification, and pre-employment compliance.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership across multiple locations.
