Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Integrates GIV, GV, spares, periodic maintenance, tool conversion, ASCs, flight test and other elements within the scheduling module.
- Interfaces with the Department Managers to status, forecast, and build recovery plans to the master schedule. .
- Provides variance reports to the master schedule.
- Analyzes scheduling data for variability, cohesiveness and accuracy.
- Develops what if models necessary to assist co-production strategic planning.
- Provides detailed information to the main frame scheduling database.
- Manages the route card release function.
- Provides delivery dates and status as the single point of contact for all post production requirements (spares, completion center, flight test, etc.) .
- Conducts daily schedule status meetings. .
Other Requirements
- Understanding of resource planning, rough cut capacity planning, detail capacity planning, crew loading, resource leveling and cost schedule control.
- Demonstrates knowledge of MRP.
- Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in personal computer applications such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and Power Point.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
