Business Planning Analyst
Role Overview
The Sustainability Analyst engages with North American suppliers to advance Honda's sustainability initiatives, including environmental footprint reduction, sustainability education, and human rights due diligence.
Responsibilities include developing Situation Analyses, proposing sustainability improvements, managing supplier engagement, benchmarking industry practices, and supporting continuous improvement activities aligned with Honda's lean practices.
This role requires evaluating supplier data, establishing sustainability targets through negotiation and education, and monitoring industry trends to ensure accurate reporting and effective stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred; relevant experience may suffice.
Candidates should possess strong negotiation, relationship management, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Experience in sustainability, purchasing, or sales (0-3 years) is ideal.
